Couple's retreat recommended
I've never had a more restful sleep in my life and the breakfast buffet offered everything you could imagine. There was a moment when the staff helped me fix a problem with my shower, they genuinely cared about our comfort.
It was a bit on the pricey side but worth every penny.

missingWrote a review on 02 Julgorgeous surroundingscomfortable roomsdirty bathroom
Comfortably designed executive rooms with decent space make it a surprisingly accommodating choice. The gorgeous outdoor surroundings offer a nice escape for kids to play and for adults to unwind in a generally peaceful atmosphere.
Upon arrival, the hotel had a scent of neglect, with carpets that hadn’t seen a vacuum in days. My view was something out of a trash compactor, looking directly at the bins instead of the gardens promised in the brochure. The hot tub jets barely worked which soured the whole experience, and the breakfast service was chaotic, with trays lacking replenishment when I needed a bite. the bathroom could have used some serious attention—aspects like black grouting and less-than-pristine cleanliness detracted from what should be a four-star ambiance. There were also lingering hairs on the towels, which is less than ideal when settling in.

Room temperature regulation needs serious improvement!!! Accessing some rooms involves navigating annoying stairs, particularly inconvenient for those hauling luggage or with mobility issues!!!

The room delivered a comfy bed that facilitated a good night's sleep, and the décor presented a fresh touch. The bar area offered a charming spot to relax overlooking the garden, a feature that made unwinding after a long day enjoyable.
The shower pressure left much to be desired, making a quick refresh more of a chore than a pleasure. Some furniture felt a bit dated, which clashed with the more modern aspects of the hotel. reaching certain rooms involved navigating a maze of stairs and corridors, which could be inconvenient for those with heavy luggage. There were a few appliances that seemed to be showing their age, such as the kettle kept in an obscure cupboard requiring a bit of a treasure hunt to find. While the location is scenic, it's about a fair trek from the nearest amenities, which could be a hassle if you're looking for quick access to shops or eateries.

A quiet sleep was easy to come by thanks to the comfortable large bed in the Superior Double Room. The friendly staff were always willing to help, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was delightful, featuring expertly cooked local meat options, but the rest of the hotel felt a bit tired and needs some updates. The gym facilities were lacking for those looking to work out with weights.
